Witchworks posters and associated promotional materials - produced by the Witchworks Print Collective, or Witchworks Women Printing - grew out of the vibrant feminist social justice scene in Wollongong during the late 1970s and early 1980s, in tandem with similar metropolitan-based movements such as the Earthworks Poster Collective at the University of Sydney (Yuill 2015) and the rebirth worldwide of International Women's Day.
